Resources

The CAS Technology Information Center has a variety of resources availble to faculty, staff and students. We are equipped with 21 PC workstations all of which are connected to the internet by 1 GIG connections and to quality black and white laser and duplex printers. Color printing and color poster printing are also available to faculty and staff and to students, with permission from a faculty member. The Center is also equipped with a SmartBoard, making it an excellent room for teaching.

The Center is equipped with a flat bed document scanner, a slide and film scanner and a new large format scanner which will accommodate materials up to 42 inches in one direction.

A Scantron is available for faculty and staff. This scantron uses ParScore software to score and evaluate tests, so you need to make sure you visit the link on CAS Scantron Information to make sure you have the required software and forms if you wish to use this equipment. Some training may be required.

The following programs are available: Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver MX, Adobe Photoshop Elements, SPSS and SAS as well as many course specific programs.
